Green technology is all the rage, and Clean Energy and Power needed a website that let the public know they are on the cutting edge of the industry. We created a clean and appropriate design aimed at peaking investor interest.
Clean Energy and Power needed to convey the spirit of their company to potential partners and investors. The management photographs are prominently displayed along with explicit icon based links to their email addresses and vCards. CEP can add, remove, and edit management information as they see fit using the customized content management system(CMS) implemented by Area Studios.
Clean Energy and Power partners up with companies who are paving the way in new and profitable green technologies, and they needed to be able to provide clear and dedicated pages for each one. Area Studios helped organize this information in an attractive and consumable fashion and provided a template which can be used to add more projects as needed. The content management system was customized to allow CEP management to modify and add content without any special knowledge about web development.
Most companies are in a state of constant flux, thus their website needs to be just as adaptable to change. Unfortunately, a lot of websites simply get slapped into trendy content management systems (CMS) with little regard for the end user's specific needs. Area Studios uses a CMS that's easy enough for the least technical person to use while remaining powerful enough to keep content consistent and attractive. We worked with CEP to determine what sections of their website they'd be updating most often and built specific templates and tools to help them manage the content themselves.
Of the utmost importance for Clean Energy and Power's site is pique the interest of potential partners and investors. In order to increase conversion rates, Area Studios paid special attention to the placement and design of certain call-to-action zones. The buttons are large, obvious, inviting, and complete with descriptions letting the user know what they should expect. To enhance the user experience, buttons become depressed when clicked as they might in the real world.
Behind each page's headline one will notice an array of green technology graphics, from solar panels to windmills. These elements give the site a friendly inviting feel while staying on point with the broader corporate message.
