Green technology is all the rage, and Clean Energy and Power needed a website that let the public know they are on the cutting edge of the industry. We created a clean and appropriate design aimed at peaking investor interest. It was important that we direct users' attention to certain action areas, so special care was taken to increase the click-through rate on key items.
Consulting Resource Connection
Ever wish there was an easier way to hunt for jobs online? The Consulting Resource Connection (CRC) is a tool that makes it easier than ever to find that perfect consulting gig. Area Studios was contracted to build and design CRC paying special attention to ease of use and robust administrative controls. Sure to be a hit, CRC will be coming online soon to serve the greater Twin Cities area of Minnesota with plans for expansion into future markets.
Woodbury High School Class of 1999 Reunion Site
The class of 1999 wanted a website that allowed them to take registrations for the upcoming 10 year reunion online and also provided a way for users to log in using their Facebook accounts via Facebook Connect. A slick retro-cool design was made to entice classmates to sign up and share memories.
Total Apparel Group
Area Studios was approached by Total Apparel Group (TAG) to create a new website to coincide with the landing of an exclusive North American distributorship for FIFA and Kappa lifestyle clothing. They wanted a professional, clean, and modern website to reflect their core business goals and help showcase their apparel. Area delivered a minimalist site that effectively encapsulates all of TAG's desires.
CRC-ASPex
CRC-ASPex is a leading consulting and it services company based in beautiful downtown Saint Paul, MN. They were so busy doing great work for their customers that they let their website slide. Area Studios was able to step in and provide them with the look and layout that helped them get their message across to existing and new customers. NuttersMark.com is the website of Area Studio's founder and principal developer, Mark Nutter. NuttersMark serves as Mark's blog, music composition showcase, journal, and resume. Long before there was Google Wave, there was Oqodo, a dynamic multi-blog platform developed to help friends and associates keep in touch and share their ideas and actions with ease. Oqodo takes the hottest web communication platforms and standards and mashes them up into an experience that is unique and engaging.
Twitterless
Twitter has exploded in popularity and become a household name, and Area Studios has been riding this wave from the beginning. Twitterless was created to help people keep track of their followers on Twitter. Twitterless tells people when they lose followers, provides them with a variety of informative and interactive graphics to track their follower history, and also provides information about their follower base through clever statistics and data-mining tactics.

Have you ever came across what seemed like a very interesting article but just didn't have time to read it in full, only to bookmark it away and never return to it? Synop.it is the solution to this problem. It is a wiki-style repository containing summaries of popular news and information articles. Anyone can contribute to it and everyone can benefit from it.

At the intersection of Ruby and Java, you will find JRuby, a Java based implementation of the ever popular Ruby programming language that brings the best of both worlds to developers everywhere. The JRuby team aims to bring Ruby to the enterprise, and Area Studios did its part by providing a slick and professional web design to help spread the word.
